Problem Description

Issue

I am unable to connect to Minecraft server only after upgrading to latest version of AMP. I have created a new instance for Java Minecraft and changed no default settings and still not able to connect.

Reproduction Steps

  • Deleted all instances
  • Made sure server was upgraded
  • Rebooted server
  • created new Instance
  • Let instance start
  • Made sure world was started
  • Tried to connect but got connection error : connection timeout: getsocketopt

That’s just a generic disconnect message, make sure the port is open in the firewall

The same happened to me JAVA version All my ports are open once I updated I was unable to connect via Public IP I still have no answer
