Problem Description

Issue

After changing some values in a file. I start the server and when I look back into the file. Everything is set back to default value.

Reproduction Steps

  • change a value in a config file for a mod
  • start server
  • AMP resets the config file back to it’s original state

If you’re changing settings in data/serverconfig.json, certain settings in that file are controlled by AMP’s UI (Configuration>Vintage Story). Change them there

Well I like to change the .json file in ModConfig. like giving the player more experience gain.

Right. Nothing to do with AMP. Is the VS server stopped when you edit the files?

It runs normal and closes fine. It’s that afterwards the changes it made to the mod files switches back to default settings.

I’m looking back at it now and the server didn’t reset the changed .json file. Weird
