Problem Description

Issue

For example most mods for sourcemod isn’t compatible with 64bit mode so you will have to force the server to run 32bit mode i had to rename the files srcds to srcds_win64.exe and the proper srcds_win64.exe to srcds_win64-deactivate temporarily to run 32bit.exe - just to be able to run my mods for sourcemods because most of the ones i want to run isn’t compatible with 64bit version yet

Reproduction Steps

  • i tried everything to get my mods to work on 64bit version
  • would be nice to have a feature in configuration to allow us to change to 64bit or 32bit mode for most game servers that don’t have this feature it would be a nice feature for all game servers to have just in case mods require 32bit mode to run if they haven’t been updated to 64bit compatibility
  • i tried all sourcemod and metamod versions same thing happens unless i do what i explained to get it to work

If it was possible to sensibly include an option to switch between 32 bit and 64 bit, it would have already been done. Executables and env vars both need to change, which is not really manageable in the template without being a clunky user experience
