Problem Description

Issue

hey,
Im runing AMP on my Debian 13 VM.
The Problem i entcountered with Stormworks is,
That they Changed the way the server is stored, and with that
they changed the Config.
But because of AMP pulling it and you arent enabled (at Least i dont know how to) to change the Config, It dosnt start. Well it dos start, but it will only show up with your WAN ipv4 and also its faded in Red. It has massive Lags every other Second. Ive tried it with my windows VM and it workes Perfect there. But i would like to have everything under one roof. And also is there a way to change the Configs of server without AMP changing them Back?

Thanks in advance

Reproduction Steps

  • Start the Server
  • Search the Server
  • Cant Join it

That’s a very vague post. What config setting do you think you need to change?

Bear in mind as well that the server runs under Wine on Linux, so it won’t necessarily run as well as natively on Windows

Yeah i thougt of this as well.

Ive read throgh these configs and i have to say they are the same or nearly the same.
Than i really dont know what is causing this weird behavior with the AMP instance.
Because everything is set to be the same, Yet it somehow dosnt work.

Maybe im the Problem. But i dont know why its behaving like that

Also the Ports cant be the Problem.

Ive set it up all exactly the same.

and i only have to switch .16.100 to .16.16 to move from Windows to AMP.

but it still dosnt work. every other Instance runs perfect espeacaly those from you.

But i cant get this one too work

I think the Problem now i have is, That it wants Steam P2P Ports to be open.

But it dosnt specify which one. Back than it only uses 25565-25567 not it needs 25565 and Steam P2P Ports
