Configuration with RuneScape: Dragonwilds - Cannot add admins to the server

Problem Description

Issue

The admin password section isn’t working. Whenever I set the password within the amp panel, it never gets to the dedicatedserver.ini. And when I add it it just removes on startup. I am just trying to have admin access. I am using my accounts EOD login in the amp panel and the same account in game. In the .ini it shows that they both match, but there is no admin menu in game im assuming because there is no adminpassword field in the .ini.

Reproduction Steps

  • Adding the admin password within amp then starting the server back up.
  • putting the admin password in the dedicatedserver.ini manually, then starting.
  • Tried manually changing permission within the .ini though I know that won’t work.

No idea, still havn’t figured it out. Would love to be able to have admin working.

I haven’t tried it, but could you make a DedicatedServer.ini file with it included and then “import” it through the file management section to get it to stick?

I tried before, didn’t work for me.

@IceOfWraith I took a look at the script for this instance info, and the Admin Password setup on the runescape-dragonwildsconfig.json for “ParamFieldName” looks to be formatted differently than the rest and this is the area they are having trouble with. I don’t know how to edit these otherwise I would give it a try, but this was your template. Could you look at it?
