Problem Description

Issue

When a small amount of people are on the sever it becomes very laggy and i am using 100% of my recourses when i shouldn’t so how can i fix this.

Reproduction Steps

  • I changed the amount of people it could handle
  • I tried updating things
  • I did random things to the resources to make it better

That’s pretty normal for Minecraft depending on your setup.
You should use a profiler (the Spark plugin/mod is suggested), and read through what could be causing the most lag on the server, then resolve that.
In most cases it’s caused by having the render distance too high or too many entities.
