Problem Description

Issue

Trying to add my world to my server, it does not take the world, and instead creates another world folder for the same default world.

Reproduction Steps

  • deleted “world” folder in the file manager
  • moved the zip folder for my world into the file manager
  • extracted my world folder into the manager
  • started the instance and connected to it

Make sure the world has the same name as what you have configured under Server Settings
Minecraft doesn’t magically know which world to load
