Problem Description

Issue

i can set up the server just fine, install the mods through the ftb tab, and start the server, but when i go to join it, i get an error code saying the server isnt initialized and is showing as a vanilla server.

Reproduction Steps

  • Created minecraft server instance
  • changed server type to ftb new and chose the ftb direwolf 20 modpack for 1.19
  • downloaded and installed the mods, and launched the server
  • attempt to join, getting error

You need to change the server type to NeoForge after installing the modpack.
AMP can’t infer the server type from the FTB download, so the extra step is needed.
