Problem Description

Issue

I followed a tutorial on how to create a minecraft server. I selected the bungee option for minecraft due to the video suggesting this for mod use. I then clicked manage after creating the instance and clicked configuration. Almost all of the new options in the video that appeared were not in my configuration, such as the option that allows you to change your world difficulty. I then tried updating the VPS but that did nothing.

Reproduction Steps

  • Selected bungee options for creating a minecraft instance
  • Clicked manage then configuration
  • Updated VPS but it had no effect.

BungeeCord is for server networks, and is not good for modded servers (the video lied).
BungeeCord is a proxy, and does not have a world attached.

what should i use then? and is that why theirs missing config options?

No clue, never used Hostinger, I host AMP from home on my own computer.

You would use just the official server type if you’re not using a modpack.
If you are using a modpack, you would make a MC Java instance, then select the modloader and version that the modpack needs. (you can get that information from the modpack’s page)
