Problem Description

Issue

I try need to update the JDK for my MineCraft Instance.

Reproduction Steps

  • I also tried to update the amp cli and tools
  • I would like to update both the Minecraft and the Java Runtime Environment.
  • I wind up having to revert to an earlier backup.

Change the JDK in the settings, if the newer version isn’t there, you’ll need to download it via your package manager, then stop/start the instance.

Thanks for your reply. I’m a little new to this. My server is hosted by Hostinger, which is using AMP. Is the package manager within AMP?

No, you need to use the VPS’ package manager, AMP does not have the necessary permissions to install packages.
