Problem Description
Issue
All I want is a working bedrock server that can be updated. I haven’t been abot to upgrade the bedrock server since it was changed to “(LEgacy)” Various attempts have fails.
Reproduction Steps
- Create and instance of Minecraft Bedrock [legacy]
- Try to upgrade via the upgrade interface (fails)
- Change the version from Bedrock [Legacy] to Official
- Options to the current version of Bedrock become available.
- Try to update the launch [fails)
Don’t use the legacy module
The only three options for creation are:
- Legacy Bedrock
- Java
- Bungee
I can’t want to use Java because some people don’t play on PC. Is Bungee the right option?
Then your generic templates are out of date or missing entirely. Check your configuration repositories under Instance Deployment
Appreciate the help!
Am I looking at Instance Deployment > Instance Management > Configuration Repositories?
Only one listed is “CubeCoders/AMPTemplates”
Should it say something else?
That’s what you are after. Click Fetch Latest
Then check the Deployment Log for any errors. If you see git errors you will need to delete ADS01/Plugins/ADSModule/DeploymentTemplates/CubeCoders-AMPTemplates, then Fetch Latest again
That worked! Had to delete that file.
Thank you. I never would have found that on my own. Very much appreciated.
