Problem Description

Issue

Hi i use cloudflare to give my local servers internet access. Can you help me to get my cloudflared connected with the AMP servers?
i Dont get it, and tried it for 1 week.

Reproduction Steps

  • configured the interface to 0.0.0.0 and 192.168.40.118
  • tried in cloudflare with a record and srv but dont work
  • also tired to do it with localhost but dont work

You need to have CloudFlare’s Cloudflared service installed on both the server and client machine. (refer to their documentation on setting up Cloudflared, AMP doesn’t impact it’s functionality at all)
Or, if that’s a typo and you’re trying to proxy a MC server through CloudFlare’s HTTP DNS proxy, that won’t work (the orange cloud must be disabled)

hi, no the cloudflared service is pnly the tunnel, you only need it on server side.
Also you can create a tcp tunnel with that i run my minecraft verver before amp. And it worked.
I also disabled the proxy /orange cloud)

Last I checked CF’s docs, cloudflared needed to be installed on both ends for anything non-HTTP(S), maybe check to see if they’ve shifted their products around again. I know zero-trust charges for similar features now, so cloudflared might’ve been hit by that change as well.

Honestly it’s easiest to just forward the server normally if you’re not behind a CGNAT, as using your public IP does not increase your attack surface whatsoever.
