Problem Description

Issue

Hello!
I’m looking to change my version of longvinter to a beta: specifically 1.0-releasebuild- for modding compatibility.

Could I get some assistance with this?

Reproduction Steps

  • Game is installed but I need to change the version to a beta.
  • I choose the game, but I am unable to configure the version to a beta for mod support.
  • I’ve checked the configuration files and the game wiki, changing to the modded compatability beta is the only step I need help with.

The template currently is set up only for public and experimental

I can update it tho to add the other branches

That would be so helpful! I’d really appreciate it! My group of friends desperately wants to play the most popular modpack and I’d much rather host it on one of the dedicated instances vs. on my standalone. Thank you, happy new years!

Now done. Update your instance from the main instances page in AMP by clicking on the down arrow on the instance tile

Then manage the instance and use the search box to search “branch”

Awesome. Looks like it worked for updating. I’ll test tossing the mods on and report back shortly. Thank you so much for the help so far. I know this game is a bit fidgety so hoping it loads everything properly.

Ok testing things out, I can see the mods and its artifacts loading properly but I keep getting this looping error in the console and the server is unreachable:
