Problem Description
Issue
I wanted to change the default backup location of my instances, because currently my AMP and the instances are running on a rather small SSD. I want the backups to be stored on a bigger HDD, as it doesn’t madder how slow the data is stored. So I followed the guide from the CudeCoders discourse, but after I finished the steps for a existing instance my backups button just disapeared all togehter. I’ve tried to do the same thing for all new instances, but then my instances would be created without a backups button from the start. Also I would not be able to delete the parameter that I added in step 2.
Am I doing something wrong, or why doesn’t it work? Is this documentation on there even still uptodate? Why isn’t there a setting to change the default-backup-location?
Reproduction Steps
- Nacigate to Configuration and new instance defautls
- Add the Parameter for LocalFileBackupPlugin
- Create a new instance
- Or change the Storage.StorePath inside of the LocalFileBackupPlugin.kvp
- Edit the FilemanagerPlugin.kvp and add the backup-Folder location
