Problem Description

Issue

A while ago I had an older instance and you could just put the collection id and an API key. WHERE DID THIS GO? Why do I have to do it with the steamCMD? The STEAM LOGIN does not even work! It just pops up with every steam account that I enter. (YES THEY ALL OWN THE GAME.)

I just want the garrys mod server to download the collection on startup like it used to.

Reproduction Steps

  • SETTINGS / UPDATES / STEAM WORKSHOP
  • ENTER WORKSHOP ITEM ID
  • RETURN TO MAIN
  • HIT UPDATE
  • ENTER STEAM LOGIN (ive done 4 accounts)
  • HIT LOGIN BUTTON
  • PROMPT COMES BACK UP
  • TRY AGAIN AND LOOP FOREVER

Not sure why you are using all caps lol

The workshop collection ID setting is still there under Configuration > Garry’s Mod
