Problem Description

Issue

There are a number of settings missing in the UI, particularly the Egg, dinosaur mating and growth multipliers, as well as the per level multipliers.

I have attempted to add these in manually to the configuration file, however when the server is started all my changes are reverted.
I have tried making just a single change to try to pin down the issue, however this also shows the same issue.

I have also tried running the dedicated server outside of AMP, using my amended configuration file. It works as expected, so it doesnt appear to be an issue with the configuration file.

Please can you advise? Thanks!

Reproduction Steps

  • Stop server
  • Check UI for settings
  • Manually amend configuration file
  • Start server
  • Configuration file is overwritten with UI configuration

If you submit the changes here, they can be propagated upstream and you’ll then be able to update the instances to get the new configuration: GitHub - CubeCoders/AMPTemplates: For the AMP community to share Generic Module templates.

Nice one, cheers. I’ll make those changes over the weekend and submit a pr.

Just to check, is the configuration file being overwritten expected behaviour?

Yes, for most games AMPs configuration handling is export only right now.
