Problem Description
Issue
When a user is created access works fine in bypass mode, however if the same user creates a second instance, the password gets reset and they loose access,
I can get them to log into the controller but then they have access to the datastore and I have to manually grant them access to their instances,
is there a way where they can not have access to the filemanager for the controller but can for the instances they own, plus is there a way to grant uses access to all their instances automatically? including new ones as they generate?
I would like to know a viable solution for adding additional instances and not reset the users password when another instance is under the same username
or force each instance to have a unique username.
Reproduction Steps
- Create instance in WHMCS
- Confirm direct instance access works
- Add a second instance to the same user
- confirm original instance can not login
