Problem Description

Issue

Hi I trying to use this instance for my family so my siblings can create there own servers but not interact with eachothers. Currently when a user makes a server everyone get’s access to that server but I want only the user that created it (Other than Super Users) to be able to view and manage the server. I cannot work out how to do this.

Reproduction Steps

  • I have went into the system configuration and looked around to try and find some sort of toggle but I cannot find one
  • Created a test user and tried removing permissions, I can remove them from existing servers but even if that user makes a new server everyone can see it.

You can’t really automate the user-instance-assignment process outside of an enterprise environment. With the Advanced edition and below, it has to be done manually, and with friend/family instances they aren’t supposed to be creating their own instances. (primarily because the licence holder is the one that knows their limits)
