I need to crate an instance of Minecraft 1.20.4. How do I specifcy the version

  • create instance
  • add minecraft
  • start the instance

You specify under Configuration -> Server Settings, there’s a search bar in the upper right.

also make sure you have java installed for your server. Java 21 will work for 1.20.4
