Configuration with Application Deployment - how do i access amp panel from an external network?

Problem Description

Issue

I just want to be able to access the amp panel to manage my instances from outside of my LAN. say, if i were in another country for the next few months, i could still tweak and configure my servers. thanks for your time.

Reproduction Steps

  • looked up what amp officially says about it
  • learned that it might run on port 8080
  • tried using my external IP with port 8080 to no avail
  • now wondering if im down the wrong trail

You need to configure port forwarding on port 8080 to your internal IP via your routers configuration.
