Problem Description

Issue

Factorio is missing in my create instances drop down menu, why is it missing? I can see it in Deprecated if I enable that feature… but why? Cant seem to find any news on this being deprecated and its on the supported games list for AMP’s features

Reproduction Steps

  • Create Instance
  • Select the Application dropdown
  • Look for factorio in instances

Manjaro isn’t an officially supported distro so things may not be working properly. You’re likely missing ‘git’ which AMP needs to download the templates.

Appreciate the response. Been using Manjaro to run it for a while no issues thankfully  … Also git is installed and fully functional, Factorio used to be in my menu until a recent update (2.5 i think) and now its marked deprecated.

Happy to discuss over Discord too, or any commands you have that I can use to test any theories

Check ADSs log and make sure it’s not having difficulty fetching the templates. What was deprecated was the ‘coded’ Factorio module as opposed to the newer one which is based on the Generic module.

Would you point me in the direction of where those may be and how to trigger a log of that level? Please?
