Problem Description

Issue

Is there any way to mitigate this? (Server config being replaced by settings set up in configuration; right click and import does not help with it either)

Possible fix would be to have setting in configuration that would completely disable Configuration section, or at least minimized its usage. I have encountered problems with this mainly in Project Zomboid (Could not disable anti-cheas desired by XYZ mod) and older modded Minecraft (Forge 1.7.10 multiple settings in server.properties)

Reproduction Steps

  • Create Instance
  • Upload Own Config
  • Start Server
  • Config replaced with config from Configuration

For PZ, what is your ini called and how are you uploading it?

With Minecraft you can just right click the server.properties file and import it to sync up the AMP-controlled settings

@Greelan
Hello, my ini is called options.ini, I tried uploading it thru the web interface.

@ThePotatoKing
Hello. Unfortunately, I did this and not all settings were imported, for some amp provided an error, listing them. level-type was not one of ones which were mentioned in error, still the setting was not imported.

Then set the level type manually in the UI if it couldn’t be parsed

AMP only controls servertest.ini. That assumes that the server internal name is servertest. If yours is something different, adjust in the UI to suit. Otherwise put your content into servertest.ini, assuming that content is meant to replace the content of servertest.ini

Looking at my install, I see Zomboid/options.ini. That is entirely separate to Zomboid/Server/servertest.ini. AMP only controls the latter
