I am currently experiencing lag issues on my Satisfactory server during combat phases. The server is hosted on a virtual machine (VM) using Proxmox and managed through AMP. While the server seems to have sufficient resources (12% CPU usage, 4GB of RAM out of 16GB), I notice significant latency (ping) increases during combat, yet the server does not seem to use the additional available resources.
In the logs, I frequently receive the following warnings:
LogNetPlayerMovement: Warning: ServerMove: TimeStamp expired: 164.482681, CurrentTimeStamp: 166.085739, Character: Char_Player_C_2147470754
Before fights, my ping is around 10ms, but during fights, it can spike up to 3000ms.
I have already tried adjusting the tick rate settings but without significant improvement. Here are some additional details on the setup:
- The server is locally hosted via Proxmox
- Instance management through AMP
- The issue is particularly noticeable during combat (lag, ping spikes)
- The server is only using 12% of the CPU and a portion of the available RAM, even though it could use more
Do you have any suggestions or specific configurations to optimize the server’s performance in this context? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
