OS Name/Version: Windows 10 22H2
Product Name/Version: AMP v2.6.0.6
Problem Description: While on the main AMP menu, clicking the ‘Manage’ button on either of my Minecraft instances does not load the instance config page. The border flashes white, and nothing happens after. This started after updating AMP to v2.6.0.6 on Tuesday, 2025/01/07.
Steps to reproduce: N/A
Actions taken to resolve so far: None. I’m not even sure where to begin troubleshooting this particular issue as it only started after a routine update and system reboot.
Clear your browser cache and see how that goes
My apologies, I guess I did do a bit of troubleshooting with different browsers from multiple machines but forgot to mention it.
- I’ve tried in both Firefox and Edge on both the local machine and from another machine on the network.
- I lowered my tracking prevention settings from strict to standard and still no change.
- Disabled uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger extensions on Firefox with no change. No extensions are installed on Edge.
- Cleared the cache in Edge with no difference made.
EDIT: I have it sorted out now. This thread that was posted today for the same issue sent me down a rabbit hole.
Repairing the installation with the msi after killing all AMP processes, rebooting, running “ampinstmgr upgradeall” from a command prompt running as an admin, and finally rebooting once again got it going again.
My original upgrade must have broken in the process.
Ah good to know it can also be caused by a version mismatch. The manage-stallout is usually caused by browser session weirdness.
