OS Name/Version:
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (on Virtualbox with bridged network)

Product Name/Version: (Always use the full version number - not ‘Latest’)
AMP 2.5.1.8, built 03/09/2024 11:47

Problem Description:
Accessing AMP remotely: after loging in it’s stuck on " Loading plugins. one moment please…" forever. Even if i get through, either Instances can’t load (just a green border) and/or user-roles (login as admin → but no rights).
accessing locally: everything works.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Installed AMP (HTTP) on VM
  2. completed installation in WebUI
  3. trying to acces remotely

info: my host sits behind cloudflare and my AMP is under subdomain amp.mydomain.com (origin rule in cloudflare to redirect amp.* to port 8080)

Actions taken to resolve so far:

  • reinstall everything.
  • flush iptables (after setting everything to accept), activate ufw (8080,2223 and 12820 are there).
  • refreshing page (remote client) incl. shift+f5 and ctrl+f5. sometimes it says “flushing cache”, but doesn’t help.

IF i can log in:

Edit:
Seems like “Bridged Adapter” makes a difference:
When i set the VM on NAT (and change port forwarding to host machine) everything works as expected.

going to look for a solution (having to add every port manually in virtualbox kinda sucks…) and report back if i find anything.

if someone knows how to fix it, i’d be very thankful!
