Can't connect to AMP panel from a different internet, only locally

OS Name/Version: Ubuntu server 24.04.2 LTS noble
Product Name/Version: AMP standalone version 2.6.2.4; getamp.sh - Phobos

Description:
Hello, I’m trying to get the AMP panel to work on the internet. I’ve tried connecting to a hotspot to test it, and it doesn’t connect, but it does connect on the same Wifi network the Ubuntu server is on (locally). I’ve tried quite a few things. I’ve made sure to port forward the game server (Minecraft Bedrock)'s ports, and the port the AMP panel is listening on (3000). I’ve tried reinstalling the thing, lol. Reinstalled the entire operating system, lol.

I’ve tried disabling the firewall and stopping it, as well as with the proxy, Squid. Then, I reconnected to my hotspot to test the AMP panel IP address and port. To no avail. I’ve also tried rebinding the IP set to 0.0.0.0 because I can’t afford a static IP (also lol), and the IP is dynamic. I know it’s not best to rebind also, but I just wanted to try. When I repair the auth after rebinding, I put http://localhost:3000, but I feel like I’m doing it wrong, so I’m making a ticket.

Well, I made sure that port forwarding is working for port “3000.” It’s also on my router settings to, even though it doesn’t work.

I ran:

Step 1:
 nmap (IP, I hid it) -p 3000

Output:
Starting Nmap 7.94SVN ( https://nmap.org ) at 2025-07-27 00:06 UTC
Nmap scan report for mc-bds-wr.lan (IP, I hid it)
Host is up (0.000099s latency).

PORT STATE SERVICE
3000/tcp open ppp

Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 0.03 seconds

Steps taken to resolve so far:

1. Rebinding the IP and host of AMP.
2. Reinstalling Ubuntu.
3. Disabling UFW and Squid Proxy.
4. Testing from a different network to see if it's online and not local.

As you can see, it’s open. However, when run on a port checker site, it’s closed. That’s strange. I’m thinking it’s AMP or something I’ve done. Any idea what I should do or if it’s something else entirely? Any suggestions? Do I send in any other logs or information? Thanks.
