OS Name/Version: Ubuntu Linux 20.04

Product Name/Version: Phobos 2.6.0.6 build 20/11/2024

Problem Description: I created a 7 Days to Die server last night, but I am unable to connect to it. The game states that the Server is still initializing but I has been up for 8 hours. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1: Installed Linux 20.04 on a VM, set static IP.
  • Step 2: Installed AMP using instructions on website.
  • Step 3: Installed 7 Days to Die Server, forwarded ports required.
  • Step 4: Transferred Rebirth Mod Files to Mods directory on new server.
  • Step 5: Started server with Rebirth Mod.

Actions taken to resolve so far: I have attempted to update the server, restart the server, verify port forwarding.

Which ports did you forward?

26900,26901,26902,26903,26904,26905,26906
Pretty much all ports listed in the network port status list on my instance main page

Does the server start OK with the mod files? What ports are shown as listening?

Yes, the server starts ok with the mod files. I just started it up again and now it is showing just ports 2224, 26902,26905 and 8081 that are listening. The other 5 are not.
The ports are forwarded on my router. Do I need to make a change on AMP?

That sounds normal. Not all ports show as listening but are still required by the server …

Check that firewall rules exist on the host?

All firewall rules exist on the host server except for port 8081 - Webserver Port. AMP’s core webserver port 8080 does exist on the host server.

Can someone outside your network connect? Could be a NAT hairpin issue

I haven’t tested that out yet. I will give it a try and reply ASAP. Thank you Greelan!
