OS Name/Version: windows 11 enterprise

Product Name/Version: (Always use the full version number - not ‘Latest’) 2.5.0.12 - 20240530.3

Problem Description: After setting up and configuring a minecraft server (1.20.6) i cannot connect, no matter what. i always get an error “failed to connect: getsockopt” I have added firewall exceptions for the JRE and AMP exes, even tried to turn the firewall off completely to see if that solved it, but so far, no luck. i am running the paper version of minecraft. the server logs do not show an attempt to connect. i know the ip is right cause i can see the server information in the server list. the ports show that they are listening in the server panel for the game, but not for sftp

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1 create server
  • Step 2 try to connect
  • Step 3 cant

Actions taken to resolve so far: tried firewall rules for java/ads turning firewall off entirely. no success.
EDIT: after installing/setting up a server without AMP (standalone) i am able to connect locally after exiting no-ip. However after starting the server without no-ip through amp, i am still unable to connect with the same error message.
Edit2: attempted to uninstall ads to start with a clean install, however it was unsuccessful. right clicking and deleting instances tells me to type in the name, then when i click delete instance nothing happens. uninstalled via control panel, no luck.
Edit 3: a fresh install of amp seems to have no effect.
