Bedrock server

Problem Description:

Steps to reproduce:
Download Latest Bedrock Server
Install AMP
Connect to AMP
Open Launcher
Multiplayer
Connect to server: 192.168.3.166:19132
Error occurs.

Actions taken to resolve so far:
Set the Allow Local Connections Setting.
I am trying to connect form the same location AMP is running.

Why are you getting a Java error on Bedrock?
What server type do you have selected under Server Settings?

The Java Error is from the Client. Which is Java Version 1.20.6.

The server settings says: Bedrock (Official Pocket/ Win10 Server)

Whats is weird is that the players using Ipads are able to connect on the local network.

Java clients cannot join bedrock servers, you need to be running the Windows 10/11 bedrock edition to connect to bedrock servers.

OK I get it. Which Server should I run so I can support the most types of clients?
Is there another Linux client I can run that will connect?

There is no official server that handles both, but using Geyser and Floodgate you can allow both types of players to join the same server.
I would suggest you use the Paper server type (Java Minecraft), then install Gesyer + Floodgate as plugins.
