Best way to migrate AMP from windows to Linux (Ubuntu)

OS Name/Version: Windows 10 pro / Ubuntu Linux 22.10

Product Name/Version: AMP Release “Halimede” v2.4.1.2, built 21/12/2022 17:54

Problem Description:
I want to migrate AMP from a windows10 “server” to a (proxmox) VM running Ubuntu 22.10
What is the best procedure to do this.
I already have the VM running and AMP installed.

I have tried creating a new instance and using the backups from my windows machine but the backups are not visible in AMP. (even tried editing the backsups.json file)

Just copying the content of the AMPDatastore folder to the linux folder /home/amp/.ampdata/ also did not work (yes, i changed the ownership tyo the amp user)

What is the best way to do this?
(is there even a way?)

I’d also like to know if this is possible. I want to decommission my proxmox Windows Server 2012 vm and replace it with a new Debian vm per CubeCoders recommendations.
