Auto start server

OS Name/Version: Windows 10

Product Name/Version: AMP Release “Triton” v2.3.2, built 31/01/2022

Problem Description:

I have a server running 3 instances and these start by themselves, but the servers they are hosting does not. I’ve looke several times in the instance settings and there doesnt seem to be a GUI way of having the server auto start, once the instance have started.

The instances are hosting Valheim and CS:GO.

Anyone know how to do this?.

Manage the instance and type “Start” into the search box in the top right corner of AMP.

Thank you for replying, I’m experiencing that only one of my 3 servers starts even though the setting is activated on all 3 of them. Is this a known issue?.

There’s no known issues for startup. I’d suggest checking the instance logs to see what it’s trying to do.

Seems like it updates and then really doesn’t do anything after that.

I just tried to set the Startup Mode to Start the application, which works fine, the server is started when the instance starts, but when i switch it back to Update and then start the application, it just runs the update rutine and then stops:

Set it just to start then and I’ll check the logic surrounding how it handles waiting for the update to finish.

Thx, it seems my CS:GO servers are not affected only my Valheim server.

As shown here it works fine if i skip the update step:

Was there a solution to this? I am experiencing this as well.

Nope, never heard back from the developers, and still have the issue.

For now don’t use the ‘Update and start’ mechanism, and instead use the scheduler to auto-update when updates are actually available instead of checking each time the instance is started.
