Problem Description
Issue
I can’t find the server in the search, even after checking the player server and password-protected server. I added the port to the server and my pc but it still can’t find it, so is Steam (by adding the query port). After using the command in the game, it says invalid password even tho i put the CORRECT damn password, and even after changing it twice, I don’t know what to do. Please help
edit: thanks to jeff for helping the fix was : turn off ark server —> configuration —> ark asa —> removing the password —> go back —> File Manager —> shooter game —> Saved —> windows server —> gameusersettings.ini —> check if the password is removed, if not remove it then save and upload —> check in the command line in ur pc if if u are using ubuntu server put in the command line ( sudo grep -i “ServerPassword” “/home/amp/.ampdata/instances/myserver01/ark-sa/2430930/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/GameUserSettings.ini” ) if the server passoword output (Server Password= ) you are good u can go ahead and join the server using the command on ark if not restart the server and try again .
