Problem Description:
Ark SA server starts fine, is reachable via public IP, but does not report in status to arkstatus.com, battlemetrics.com, or the in game Server search. Server name is SnobbyPancakes
Steps to reproduce:
- Launch server
- Wait 10 mins
- Connect to server by IP to verify it’s working
- Search for server every 30 minutes for a day on arkstatus and battlemetrics
- Server runs fine, but is not available by name in any of the lists
Actions taken to resolve so far:
- Change game port
- Packet capture during container startup for DNS resolution issues (none found)
- Restart game
- Update game
- add culture=en to game command line args
