Just wondering if certain games are ignored by you. I’ve noticed some tech support posts with multiple replies and others with 0 until they’re closed a month later.
All threads are auto-closed after a month to prevent grave-digging.
There are a few reasons why a given post might not be prioritised:
- The time it’s posted. CubeCoders operates Monday-Friday during UK business hours, so we’re less likely to answer posts during weekends or late in the day - but try to pick them up during the week. If you want a faster response you’d do well to join the Discord server which has a larger community presence.
- The question or problem is to do with the game server itself, or otherwise isn’t anything to do with AMP.
- Creating a support request from the wrong place (For example, creating a request inside ADS for an issue with a Minecraft instance, which means the wrong information is in the thread)
- The user didn’t provide sufficient information or decent reproduction steps.
- The question is one that is frequently asked and the user didn’t search first.
- Basic troubleshooting steps were not followed (Such as the troubleshooting guides in the KB)
The other thing to pay attention to is games that are “Community Contributed Content” such as in this screenshot:
These are games whose support wasn’t developed by CubeCoders, which means that either I personally or other CubeCoders staff may not play or be familiar with them.
I can see you’ve got a post open for DayZ for example, which was posted on a weekend for a game that’s community content. So while it will get a response at some point, I personally for example have never played DayZ nor set up a server - so aside from very vague answers I wouldn’t be the best person to assist.
Ok, thank you for the clarification.
