My instance for my minecraft server is missing

Problem Description

Issue

I wanted to restart my server because It has been a few days and its starting to lag but when I logged into the game pannel the instance is missing. The server is still running but I dont know how to access it now. I dont know if it is because I am trying to log into the server from a different location.

Reproduction Steps

  • I logged into the game panel and can not find the instance
  • When i did log into the game panel it made me renew my password
  • I am logging in from a different location as I am away from home right now and using hotel internet

When you’re able to, I’d suggest checking the system’s available storage over SSH, and see if the drive is full. If AMP isn’t able to save the instances.json properly, this can happen.
Either that, or maybe the userdata.json has gotten corrupted, preventing you from viewing the instance due to a lack of permissions. Just a couple ideas

Im not sure how to do this as the application is run through hostinger.

This isn’t Hostinger support
(you’ll need to ask their support how to do all that)

I tried to get a hold of their support and it sends me here lol

Yeah not through the AMP panel, through their actual website (they don’t set the support URL in AMP, so it defaults to here)

ok maybe you can help me with this, (mind you I dont understand any of this, I am just trying to run a minecraft server for my son)

You would need to connect to SSH and run that command it shows you as the root user

I tried that and got this error
no such instance matching name: ‘ADS01’

You can also try rebooting your VPS
