Create a new instance

Problem Description

Issue

When trying to create a new instance an error keeps popping up “Instance Autoconfiguration Failed - Check logs” When i check the event logs I see an error which says an invalid IP address was specified, nothing has been changed on the server settings or the host machine. This issue only seems to have started after the last major AMP update, only noticed now as haven’t used AMP since then.

Reproduction Steps

  • Create new instance
  • check ip settings are correct
  • checked logs.

Is that in the main deployment log?

Yes, it’s in the main ADS deployment log

Weird, maybe check the main panel’s configs to see if you’ve specified an IP rather than the default 0.0.0.0

It was all set to 0.0.0.0. Managed to fix it by recreating the instances.json file, seems like there was a corruption in the old one. Got the idea after scrolling through the discord and someone else did that for another issue.
