Manage and Update minecraft instance
Problem Description
Issue
The steps below are for just viewing the console. But looks like everything in AMP fails to output, like updating the minecraft instance to a new version. It fails to download the update, and only tells me after I try to manage the instance again that it attempted to download but failed. I can’t seem to run any commands within the AMP console either.
All this occured after updating to AMP 2.4.7.0
Reproduction Steps
-
- Click Manage on the minecraft instance
-
- Click Console
-
- Previous logs on the console will appear
-
- Enter command eg. “Say Hello!”
-
- Nothing appears on the console but command is executed
-
- Returning to instances
-
- Click Manage on the minecraft instance
-
- Click Console
-
- The command entered previously appears in the console.
Solved
Figured out the issue. It was cookies on my firefox browser that caused the issue. I was able to manage the instance fine in chrome. I have certain plugins running on my browser that caused the old cookies to remain after updating AMP.
To solve the issue in Firefox simply go to Settings->Cookies and Site Data->Manage Data and look for the domain AMP is hosted on and click on Remove Selected, then Save Changes. After refreshing or logging into the AMP instance again everything should work as before.
