AMP not working in VLAN-Configuration with Block-Rule to private Network

OS Name/Version: Debian 12.9 Bookworm

Product Name/Version: AMP ‘Phobos’ v2.6.0.12

Problem Description:

AMP is hosted in a VM under Unraid. Connection over VLAN to pfSense works well, configured in pfSense Rules for pass to internet and block to private network. AMP´s Debian OS has connection to internet → tested with ping to 8.8.8.8 and other sites but AMP has problems, cant create instances without errors and wont start, the activate with license not working, only when i delete the rule to block private network, AMP works fine and activating was successful but i dont want amp have access to my private network… dont know where the problem is?!

Steps to reproduce:

With Rule not working, without rule working.

Actions taken to resolve so far:

Dont know what to do.

Impossible to say but I’d wager the problem is AMP isn’t able to determine what it’s external IP address is, which might happen if it can’t talk to your gateway. AMP itself doesn’t try and talk to the rest of the local network though unless you’re using controller/target mode and have other local nodes, so I can’t account for what pfSense is actually doing here.

ok, so i do not want that amp see my external ip address, amp is behind a proxy manager and only see his own ip address but he can see my gateway and my gateway can see amp.
pfsense act only as firewall, dchp server, vpn-server, proxy manager, adblocker and so on.

amp has fully internet access but not working with my local network block rule so i dont know what amp doing or need in my private network…?!

Have you checked AMPs logs to see what it’s actually having problems with? Set the LogLevel to 0 to get debug info too.
