AMP control panel and its game server cant pass Windows Firewall

OS Name/Version: Windows 10 Pro 21H2

Product Name/Version: AMP Release “Halimede” v2.4.0.10, built 27/10/2022 18:15

Problem Description:
I cant connect AMP control panel and game servers remotely with external IP, but all ok with localhost or using external IP on the host computer (on MSTSC) .
I’m sure my Internet and port forwarding are fine.
I set up both Valheim and Minecraft server manually before using AMP, they are both ok with external IP.
I tried to find the server files in AMP datastore folder, run the server .bat file. then the windows defender(firewall) showed up a reminder. I clicked YES, then the server can connect from internet.
So I think it’s the Windows Firewall problem (Not sure).

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1: Strat AMP
  • Step 2: Start Valheim and Minecraft Bedrock instances

Actions taken to resolve so far:

  1. tried ‘ampinstmgr dumpfirewall’ and ‘ampinstmgr updatefirewall’ in cmd, results showed all related ports.
  2. repair AMP
  3. manually set some(all I can find) AMP and servers .exe files to allow them pass Windows Defender Firewall, still has the problem.

Are you using the right ports? Right click the instance you’re trying to connect to and Edit Ports to see what was assigned.
