AMP 3 Release Premiere Countdown! - November 6th, 20:00 UTC

Hi all!

We’re really excited to finally be able to show you all AMP 3. We’ll be starting with a release premiere video where we’ll show off the new look, design, features, and everything it has to offer.

At the same time, the beta keys will also going out - and we’ll be talking about how the beta is going to work during that same premiere.

Track the countdown here! We’ll be going live on November 6th 2026 at 20:00 UTC.

Who are the first beta keys going to?

Batch 0 of the Beta keys will go to people who meet the following criteria:

  • Have owned a copy of AMP Advanced Edition before the 1st of July 2026 (inclusive of that date).
  • Have linked their Discord account.
  • Have “Product notifications” turned on in their email preferences so we can inform you about your invitation to participate.

Once the keys go out, you will have 7 days to retrieve and activate the key. Any keys that aren’t activated within 7 days will go back into the pool and re-issued.

How many keys are being sent out?

Batch 0 will consist of 250 keys. However, if the premiere reaches at least 1000 views during the premiere then this will be doubled to 500 keys.

What should I expect from the beta?

The following features are disabled or not present in the first beta:

  • Enterprise or deployment APIs.
  • Deployment Templates.
  • Asset Store.
  • Importing of existing AMP 2 instances. (but importing from legacy panels is included)
  • Plugin API.

The following features are incomplete or may have significant gaps in them:

  • Minecraft Java Edition support (limited to a smaller number of server types, not all settings are accounted for)
  • No container (Docker/Podman/etc) support on Windows
  • General compatibility quirks with app templates between AMP 2 and 3 that cause differences in behaviour.
  • OIDC / single sign on
  • API keys

Are there any restrictions on what I can do with the beta?

Nope! You’re welcome to let other people access your installation, share screenshots, talk about what you like and dislike publicly. We’re sufficiently confident in it that we’re not placing any restrictions on what people can do.
