I am looking to begin a Minecraft server hosting entity and was wondering if it is possible to create instances that are able to be accessed by a client through the web, so they can use the processing power of my server which runs amp and manage their own instance, but not other client’s instances?
Sorry I am not very tech savvy when it comes to servers, but I am looking to explore the space more and I think this would be fun to figure out.
So, if this is possible, what guides/walkthroughs are available to me so I can dig into it?
That’s exactly what AMP does. you’ll want to install it and play around with it yourself, or read around this forum for more info.
Do note however, that you still need to manage your own billing, client info, website, etc when selling game servers using an Enterprise AMP licence (the only licence you can use when selling hosting for game servers).
AMP offers integrations with WCMHS, WemX, and you can write your own billing integrations using the AMP API.
Since you’re not tech savvy, you’ll most likely need to learn this stuff as you go, or pay other people to handle that side of things for you.
