OS Name/Version: ubuntu 22.04.1

Product Name/Version: (Always use the full version number - not ‘Latest’) AMP 2.3.4.4

Problem Description:

Always seem to require HTTPS to set admin passwords. I use this of a family server… and limited people have access and for some reason letsencrypt always fails, more than likely due to DNS routing. I only run amp on this server.

Is the some sort of way to overcome this?

Steps to reproduce:

Just install without HTTPS and try set an ARK: survival evolved admin password.

Actions taken to resolve so far:

None… as I can’t install HTTPS Certificate on my home freestanding server.

Two reasons, first is that access to the browser clipboard requires HTTPS.

Second, is that AMPs security model does not allow passwords to be transmitted outbound over insecure channels.

If letsencrypt is failing its more likely that your router isn’t allowing ports 80 and 443 to be forwarded properly which is required.
