Upgraded my CPU, can't log back into amp panel

OS Name/Version: Ubuntu Server (controller), PopOS (terminal)

Product Name/Version:V 2.7

Problem Description:

I recently upgraded the PC that amp was running on. I set a static IP so that it had the same IP as the last server.

I went to start the instance and it didn’t start. I found an old forum that had a step by step guide on how to fix it. (Link to post Rejoin existing server back to amp )

I followed all of the directions, repairingauth, reconfiguring and restarting the ADS01.

After I did that now I am no longer able to login and I get the following message.

Authentication passthru is disabled on the controller The auth server at http://controller-ip-address
is configured not to allow other instances to authenticate through it.

How am I able to reconfigure my local PC back as a terminal so I can log in?

If that is not the problem what can I do via SSH terminal commands to fix it?

Steps to reproduce:

  • Upgrade CPU
  • Set static IP as original IP from previous PC
  • Follow the guide from the link to repair authorization

Actions taken to resolve so far: followed the instructions from link.

UPDATE:

I was able to switch my IP to 0.0.0.0 to log in to the panel, but I still cannot open the instance. I get the following error message

Login server unreachable. Check logs for more information. - AMP tried to login to auth server at http://IP/
but it could not be reached. To adjust this by searching for "Auth Server URL" in the top right. This URL should reflect the address of your primary AMP installation..

Connection refused (IP:8080) - Connection refused

My auth url is 100% my server IP address. I don’t know what I need to fix.

UPDATE 2:

I attempted to create a new instance to see if I could just copy over all the data from the old instance and start a new server. The instance was created but there was an error starting it.
