Update Failure with Valheim - update is failed and server status is "Unable to run"

Problem Description

Issue

Can’t perform an update. When i click UPDATE (server is off) there is an error : "Error performing update stage Settings File Download: Response status code does not indicate success:404(Not Found).

Server status is: “Unable to run”

Reproduction Steps

  • click Update
  • that’s it, update not performing, server unable to run
  • third step is to try again to update, even after machine restart, and still can’t perform update

Do you have Valheim Plus. I have the same issue but only when trying to install Valheim Plus.

Yes, i have valheim plus, and still can’t perform an update :frowning:

Update your instance template: right click on the instance, click Refresh Configuration. Then manage the instance and update the server

Yeah, that was my bad, I inadvertently added a bug to the template a few weeks ago when updating other stuff :frowning:
