Unable to update from 2.3.0.8 to 2.3.2.0

OS Name/Version: Windows Server 2016 Standard

Product Name/Version: AMP 2.3.0.8

Problem Description: I am unable to update AMP from 2.3.0.8 to 2.3.2.0.

Actions taken to resolve so far:

  • Updating via the “Update Now” button, this results in a pop-up stating: “AMP is unable to update itself in its current configuration. Please manually update AMP to the latest version.”

  • Downloading the latest .msi file and running it. I’m not prompted to upgrade, only Change, Repair, or Remove.

During both of the above I’ve stopped all running instances prior to attempting.

You didn’t read the instructions properly. Read them from top-to-bottom without skipping any steps.

Looks like you’re correct. Wasn’t fully paying attention and glossed over anything that included Linux commands, didn’t notice that the top section was both Linux and Windows. I’m back up and running at the latest version, thank you!
