"Unable to connect" to AMP panel

OS Name/Version:
Ubuntu Server 20.04.4

Product Name/Version: (Always use the full version number - not ‘Latest’)
AMP Instance Manager 2.3.2.4

Problem Description:
Server was unplugged without warning and ever since rebooting I have been unable to access the web panel. The Minecraft server that starts on boot can be connected to just fine, but the web panel is completely inaccessible via local IP, public IP and domain.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1
    Start Instance
  • Step 2
Attempt to connect to web panel

Actions taken to resolve so far:
Updating amp to latest version without cache, rebooting server, restarting all instances.

Are you running through a reverse proxy? If so, did the proxy server die also? if you have root access, “netstat -alpn | grep 8080” and see if the instance is running. you can also run ampinstmgr -l (thats a lower case L) and see what port/IP your instances are bound to. of course, also check your firewall and make sure the ports are open.
