The automatic update function in AMP for Arma Reforger

OS Name/Version: Debian 12

Product Name/Version: Currently running version 2.6.1.6 - 20250421.1

Problem Description:

The automatic update function in AMP for Arma Reforger does open the Steam login window, but after entering the credentials, it simply closes and reopens, preventing the instance from being updated.

Steps to reproduce:

Several attempts to log in were made without success.

Below is the AMP log when attempting to update, and when the login window keeps reopening.

You don’t use the Steam workshop items setting for Arma Reforger. The server handles mods itself. There is a setting for mods in the UI. Each entry needs to be in the valid json format shown

All the mods are also correctly included in the JSON file in the proper format and were previously added under Configuration → Arma Reforger → Load Mods. The pure IDs were entered under the Updates section, as required by the format of the Steam Workshop items window.

The server runs without errors and works correctly during operation. Only the automatic mod update function does not work, because the login window required for Steam opens, and after entering the credentials and confirming, it closes and then immediately reopens with empty fields.

As I said, don’t use the Steam workshop items box - at all

How do I update all the mods at once automatically? The update button in the instance only updates the game version of Reforger.

As I also said, AR handles that itself when started
