Problem Description
Issue
a couple of things. server is stuck on configuring, not sure on what it stops.
also the server admin list is named wrong, correct name should be “adminlist.txt”
wild guess it might be something related?
its possible to join the server, it even states it saved, but its a new map every time the server starts.
Reproduction Steps
- name and start server
- i have ofc, tested to restart the server and or instance. no change
Would need to see logs from the instance
Also, what’s the basis of the comment regarding the admin file? The template was based on how Windward did it and also comments from admins in the Windward discord at the time as to how Horizon handled it
What and where do i find the logs you want? =)
The basis for my reasoning in the admin file is that the game fails to pick up the admins if the file is named the default name. admin.txt or what it was, but if i named it adminlist.txt the server and chat commands in game detects the admins.
Click the folder icon on the instance tile, go to AMP_Logs, pick the relevant log file
i could not find any way to upload a file that snot a picture, so here is whats in the first log generated.

That’s just the log from first creation, not particularly relevant
That’s just it. that’s all the logs say in that folder. all the logs are just the same server start logs, but this is still there and the server fails to restore its last map when restarting.
What do you get if you try to set one up?
