Problem Description

Issue

Been seeing problems with one instance of AMP on my server running minecraft bedrock. Amp Crashes but the OS is still stable. Requires a total reboot for amp to come back. it’s One instance, the other seems to be working fine. Is my users use Instance 1 nothing happens, but if they use the other one, the server crashes randomly, theres no rhyme or reason to the timing or what people are doing in the game.

ERROR fron console:
08:35:11
DBStorage chain is invalid. Possibly encryption-related, or bad DBStorageConfig passed. Reason: Unable to decipher/decrypt LevelDB.

Network port occupied, can’t start server.
INFO08:35:11
Server stop requested.
Console08:35:11
[11:35:11] Quit correctly

Reproduction Steps

  • Start affected instance
  • connect to server
  • play the game until it crashes. (COuld be 2 mins could be 2 hours)

Check dmesg - is the OOM killer taking out AMP? You could be running out of memory and the system is killing processes.

I’m waiting for a Restore of the VM right now. But i will check that once it’s back up and running.
I’ll let you know.
