Problem Description
Issue
License key intermittently disappears from ADS01, causing exit code 32 (NO_LICENCE). Re-entering the key immediately restores normal operation.
Reproduction Steps
- licence key is entered successfully
- instances boot and run fine
- key randomly goes away, causing instances to stop.
- Tried full system reboot, and ADS01 reboot, but once they key is enteres, it works for a few days, or a few weeks.. it WILL stop again..
I don’t run it on Windows but found a post that noted you need to also do this from the command prompt:
For windows, you will go to services.msc and stop AMP - ADS01 and then in cmd ampinstmgr reactivate ADS01 license and go back to services.msc and start AMP - ADS01 and you should be good to go
Thanks! I currently have it working after re-entering the key in ADS. Before I try that command, can you clarify whether it fixes the issue permanently, or does it just reactivate the license after it has already been lost? I’m trying to solve the underlying issue where ADS01 intermittently loses the stored license after days or weeks.
I’m just a regular user, but my understanding is that it should be permanent. I’ve been using AMP for coming up on a year and only have had to do this after there was a particular update a few months ago.
